FAQs

Should I pre-book my Balloon Safari?

We highly recommend pre-booking your Balloon Safari as there are limited spaces available on the balloon. To keep the ballooning experience intimate, our largest passenger balloon carries only 4 guests, and can be booked up far in advance, especially in the high season.

Do I need to book accommodation close to the Balloon Safari?

Yes. As the Balloon Safari takes place at sunrise, accommodation needs to be booked at one of the 4 Camps located within our flying area. See our Balloon and Accommodation packages for the available options.

What should I bring?

We advise passengers to bring cameras, binoculars, hats, and sunscreen. The early mornings can be cool in temperature but does increase quickly through the morning, so wearing layered clothing to adjust to the temperature is recommended.

Can anyone fly?

We do not carry children under the age of 7 years. Passengers must be able to stand unassisted for the duration of the flight, be able to enter and exit the basket, and have the ability to bend their knees for landing. The balloon safari is not suitable for pregnant ladies.

When do you operate?

We operate daily from the 19 April to the 15 September
